I want it all to myself,
the breath that I hold in
as the candle wax melt
becomes frosting and thin.

I want to share everything,
the sweet cake and the flame,
the fruit filling, wish fulfilling
love I see in my mind untame.

Thus, wind blows through me
and I wish the flame to be
ever burning within. Happy,

Happy Birthday!
